Joseph Spinelli is an American artist originally from Long Island. He studied acting at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. His performances include the role of Gordon & Others in the musical RENT which performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2015, under artistic consultation from original cast member Anthony Rapp. He recently reprised his roles in RENT when it premiered at the National Theatre Of Aruba in the fall of 2017. Other credits include Johnny (A.K.A Jesus Of Suburbia) in Green Day’s “American Idiot” and Paul in the Ken Ludwig comedy “Moon Over Buffalo”. He is a proud member of the theatre company “On The Quays”.

Joseph is also a singer-songwriter and in the Fall of 2016 released his first EP “Certainly the End of Something, or Other” and has performed at various venues in New York City including Bowery Electric, Mercury Lounge, and Sidewalk Cafe. His latest single “I Can See Everyone” was released in the Summer of 2017.

Joseph’s poetry has appeared in several publications and he recently released his second poetry book titled “Venire”.

He currently resides in New York City.
